Set your heart on the things above, obeying and doing the will of God. God promises that if we are willing and obedient, we will eat the good of the land. When we come to God, we give God our lives and we then trust Him with it. But it is completely reasonable to trust our lives with Him because he is all knowing and all sufficient. We are limited in our own knowledge but He knows everything. So there is a place of yielding to God and His way instead of by sight and doing it the way that we think it ought to be done.
